1) Instagram post image and text merge

Steps

     Image Selection & Editing:

    • Chose a high-energy action photo (free for use) showing an athlete performing parkour.

    • Enhanced the image using Brightness/Contrast and Color Balance to make the sky pop and the subject stand out.

  • Instagram UI Mockup:

    • Designed a realistic Instagram post frame from scratch using shapes and text tools.

    • Added profile details, like username, like count, follow button, and engagement icons (heart, comment, save).

  • Typography:

    • Used bold, white serif fonts to overlay the iconic motivational text "JUST DO IT".

    • Positioned and scaled the text carefully for balance and emphasis, integrating it visually with the subject in motion.

  • Hashtags & Caption:

    • Added a caption space with dummy hashtags like #freepik and #yolo for realism.

    • Included a title placeholder for customizable use.

  • Layer Management:

    • Used multiple layers for the subject, text, and UI elements to maintain flexibility and control.

    • Applied blending options like Drop Shadow and Stroke to ensure legibility of the white text over the image

  • 2) Text and Image merged

    Steps

  • Background & Subject:

    • Selected a high-resolution image of an athlete sprinting on a track, captured mid-motion to emphasize speed and power.

    • Applied Camera Raw Filter for color grading—boosting contrast, clarity, and enhancing the stadium lighting for a cinematic feel.

  • Typography Integration:

    • Added the bold title “RUNNING” using a strong, modern sans-serif font.

    • Positioned the text to stretch across the width, maintaining symmetry and drawing the eye through the composition.

    • Used Layer Masking to make the athlete appear partially in front of the text—creating a depth and 3D effect, often called the "text wrap" or "cut-out effect".

  • Logo & Branding:

    • Placed a custom red MtG logo at the top left to resemble a sports brand identity.

    • Ensured the logo contrasts well without distracting from the main visual.

  • Layer Effects:

    • Used Drop Shadows and Blending Modes subtly on the text to improve visibility without overpowering the background.

    • Maintained color harmony with cool tones in the background and bold, muted text color to keep the focus on the action.

    Steps

  • Concept & Image:

    • Chose a high-quality portrait of a woman with a thoughtful expression to visually represent the theme of thinking.

    • Used Remove Background or Select Subject to isolate the subject cleanly against a white or transparent background, enhancing focus on her facial expression.

  • Typography Design:

    • Created the word “THINKING” using a custom bold rounded font for a modern and approachable feel.

    • Applied dual text styling:

      • “TH” and “NG” are filled with solid red color.

      • “INKI” is outlined with a red stroke and transparent fill for a unique text blend effect, symbolizing the flow of thought or ideas.

    • Used Clipping Mask and Layer Mask techniques to integrate the text seamlessly with the model’s body—some letters appear in front, some behind, creating depth and interaction.

  • Color & Harmony:

    • Used red for the text to draw attention and symbolize intensity or mental focus.

    • Balanced the color against the model’s natural tones and simple clothing to avoid distraction.

  • Layer Management & Effects:

    • Carefully aligned and grouped text layers for a clean structure.

    • Maintained visual hierarchy by adjusting opacity, stroke weight, and layer order

    Steps

  • Brand Background Integration:

    • Used the iconic KFC red background along with a blurred image of Colonel Sanders for instant brand recognition.

    • Applied a Gaussian Blur on the Colonel image to shift focus towards the product and text while still retaining brand identity.

  • Typography & Text Styling:

    • Designed the headline “NEW KFC WINGS” using two different font treatments:

      • “NEW” in bold red to grab attention.

      • “KFC WINGS” in strong white with a black drop shadow for contrast and legibility.

    • Arranged text in a vertical stack for maximum impact and visual hierarchy.

  • Product Cutout & Highlighting:

    • Cut out the crispy chicken wing image using Object Selection Tool or Pen Tool.

    • Added a white stroke outline and light drop shadow to make it pop from the background, drawing attention directly to the product.

  • Logo & Branding:

    • Added a custom blue square logo (placeholder or sub-brand mark) in the top left corner for additional branding.

    • Carefully aligned and layered elements to maintain a clean, eye-catching promotional layout.

  • Final Touches:

    • Enhanced colors using Hue/Saturation and Vibrance to make the red background and chicken more appealing.

    • Balanced text and visuals to ensure clear advertising communication suitable for digital use (social media, web banner, etc.).

  •
    Steps

    1. Base Image Preparation:

    • Selected a high-resolution grayscale portrait for a dramatic, minimal look.

    • Removed the background using Select Subject and Layer Mask, placing the focus solely on the face.

    2. Slicing Effect Creation:

    • Created multiple horizontal face slices using the Pen Tool and Layer Masking to “cut” through specific parts of the face (forehead, eyes, cheeks).

    • Duplicated and adjusted these sliced sections to give them depth and separation.

    3. 3D Inner Fill – Yellow Fold Effect:

    • Designed curved yellow layers to simulate the inside of the face or a ribbon/fabric folding outward.

    • Used Warp Tool and Drop Shadows to make the yellow shapes appear like they're peeling or curling out from the skin, adding a realistic 3D illusion.

    4. Shadow & Depth:

    • Carefully painted shadows using soft brushes to create realistic depth between each slice.

    • Used Layer Styles like Inner Shadow and Bevel & Emboss for extra realism.

    5. Color Contrast & Style:

    • Maintained a black-and-white face to contrast powerfully with the bright yellow slices, enhancing the surreal and modern aesthetic.

    • Focused on clean execution, symmetry, and visual tension.

    Steps to Create the Image:

    3. Remove the Background of the Image:

      • Select the Quick Selection Tool (or Pen Tool for more precision).

      • Highlight the person in the image and refine the edges using Select and Mask option.

      • After selecting the person, press Ctrl + J (Windows) or Cmd + J (Mac) to create a new layer with the person, and hide or delete the original image layer to remove the background.

    4. Create the Text Layer:

      • Select the Text Tool (T) and type "JUMP" (or any text you want).

      • Choose a bold font like Impact or Arial Black to make the text stand out.

      • Adjust the font size according to the space you want the image to fit in.

    5. Position the Text and Image:

      • Position the text layer to fit where you want it on the canvas.

      • Now, place the image of the person jumping above the text layer in the layers panel.

    6. Create a Clipping Mask:

      • Right-click on the person’s image layer and select Create Clipping Mask.

      • This will mask the image inside the text, so it only appears within the bounds of the letters.

    7. Adjust the Image Inside the Text:

      • You can move and scale the image within the text by selecting the image layer and using the Move Tool (V) or Free Transform (Ctrl + T) to adjust its size and position.

    8. Add Finishing Touches:

      • You can add effects like a drop shadow or outer glow to the text for extra impact.

      • You may also want to adjust the brightness/contrast of the image to make sure the person pops against the background.

    9. Save Your Work:

      • Once you’re satisfied with your design, save it in the desired format (JPEG, PNG, etc.) by selecting File > Save As.

Steps to Create the Orange Slice Design:

      • Open Adobe Photoshop and create a new document with the desired dimensions.

    2. Import the Orange Image:

      • Open the image of the orange by selecting File > Open and choosing the file you want to use.

    3. Remove the Background (if necessary):

      • If the image has a background, use the Quick Selection Tool or Pen Tool to outline the orange.

      • Once the orange is selected, press Ctrl + J (Windows) or Cmd + J (Mac) to duplicate the orange onto a new layer and hide the original background.

    4. Slice the Orange Image:

      • Use the Lasso Tool to draw a selection along the middle of the orange, where you want to create the slice.

      • Once selected, hit Ctrl + J (Windows) or Cmd + J (Mac) to duplicate the selected portion onto a new layer.

      • This will create two separate pieces of the orange.

    5. Add Juice Splash:

      • Use the Brush Tool or Pen Tool to create a juice splash effect around the sliced parts. You can find custom brush splashes online or use the Liquify Tool to distort the shape of the splash for a more realistic look.

      • Alternatively, you can search for a splash PNG image to place around the sliced orange.

    6. Enhance the Juice Splash:

      • To make the juice splash more dynamic, you can apply a Motion Blur to the splash effect. Select the splash layer, go to Filter > Blur > Motion Blur, and adjust the angle and distance to match the flow of the juice.

    7. Add Details to the Sliced Orange:

      • To enhance the realism, use the Burn Tool to add shading around the edges of the slice.

      • You can also add some texture using a noise filter or subtle details like seeds or pulp, depending on your style.

    8. Final Adjustments:

      • Add any final touches, such as a drop shadow to the orange slices or juice splashes, by selecting Layer > Layer Style > Drop Shadow.

      • You can also adjust the brightness and contrast of the image for a more vibrant look.

    9. Save Your Work:

      • Once you’re satisfied with the image, save it as a PNG (for transparency) or JPEG (for standard use) by selecting File > Save As.

      • Once the strawberry is selected, press Ctrl + J (Windows) or Cmd + J (Mac) to duplicate the selected strawberry onto a new layer, and hide or delete the original background.

    4. Slice the Strawberry:

      • Use the Lasso Tool or Polygonal Lasso Tool to create selections around where you want to slice the strawberry.

      • After each selection, press Ctrl + J (Windows) or Cmd + J (Mac) to create a new layer for each slice of the strawberry.

      • You should now have several layers representing each "slice" of the strawberry.

    5. Add the Kiwi Slices:

      • Find a high-quality image of a kiwi and remove its background, just like you did for the strawberry.

      • Scale the kiwi slices to fit them inside the strawberry slices. You can use Ctrl + T (Windows) or Cmd + T (Mac) to adjust the size.

      • Place each kiwi slice in the corresponding layer of the strawberry slice, making sure to position them well.

    6. Create the Splash Effect:

      • You can either use a custom brush for splashes or search for a splash PNG image online.

      • Place the splash layer around the sliced sections of the strawberry and kiwi.

      • To enhance the splash, apply a Motion Blur by going to Filter > Blur > Motion Blur and adjust the angle and distance to fit the flow.

    7. Position the Elements:

      • Use the Move Tool (V) to adjust the positioning of the strawberry, kiwi slices, and splash effects.

      • Make sure the slices are evenly spaced and create a visual flow.

    8. Add Final Touches:

      • To make the image more dynamic, you can add a soft gradient background (e.g., a pink gradient, as seen in your image).

      • Apply a slight Drop Shadow to each slice for more depth by right-clicking on the layer and selecting Blending Options > Drop Shadow.

    9. Save Your Work:
